I'll be going into more detail in a later blog post. I have a blog post that covers the basics of the voxel stuff here. Some of the more interesting things we're doing development-wise is voxel based enemies and our lighting system. We didn't start working on it in earnest until April this year so where we're about 6 months into development now. That version was pretty popular and we started thinking about a full version and what that would be. We originally made the game in 7 days for the 7DFPS game jam in late 2014.
